Good that it turned out well for the both of you.

I just can't understand why we pay so much for a MC tire and have it come apart like that. You would think Avon or any manufacturer would have built in extra safety precautions for their product because it's mostly used on two vehicles.

Has this happened in the past on a RIII or should I say has anyone had a Metz blow like that? :shock: :shock:

First time, in 3 years here, that I've seen a blowout posted :shock: (not punctures) seriously scary :?

Thanks for the extra pic Doug - looks even more like you picked up something....If it had been a problem with the tyre, i would have thought it would give way between the bands not across them.....either way, thats scary lookin.... :shock:

Maybe youd like to consider a car tyre..... :lol:
