I have been working today on wiring my GPS and other accessories to a new accessory fuse block that works off a relay. Everything went well but I would prefer to do with the relay, which activates the fuse block, to a positive that is only live when the key is on. Right know it's connected to the battery with a quick disconnect so I can disconnect it when not in use.

I believe the accessory slot on the main fuse block is such a place but I couldn't figure out how to connect to it.

Any ideas on how to do this, or another hot lead that is only live when the key is on..?

Don

Don - run wires from the relay coil to one of the accessory connectors under the tank.

I cant tell you which connector I used - because I simply used the first one I found - stuck a multimeter on it and carried on. Powers one big 70Amp relay that feeds a 12 way fusebox.

I had some electrical terminal pins that fitted in. But not the plug outer - Vanguard - any markings on that plug - Make&P/N? or a picture.

Great... Thanks, I will give it a try
