Anyone good with an iMac desktop?

my 2 year old iMac desktop decided to crap out today. It froze on me and all I had was that little spinning rainbow wheel. I shut it down and tried to reboot it and it turns on with the apple logo and power up line but it won’t start up to where I get a screen. Tried unplugging for 30 seconds but same thing. Any of you familiar with this?
 
I can tell you what's wrong with it. It's broke. That's what's wrong with it.
 
Just got off with apple support and they walked me through reloading my OS. Takes about 45 minutes.
 
The reload didn’t take. Something with the hard drive so they had me erase and reload the Mojave OS. So far so good. I didn’t have much saved in there anyway. It will be just like setting up a new one.
 
Jeez Mate, computer fault finding on a motorcycle forum, next you’ll be asking for electrical problems advice.
