I have the Bushtec on my R3T. Heavy duty and sturdier than stock bracing. Without looking at hitch for R3, I can't say if there would be interference. I had a Classic Industries Hitch on a ZX14 sportbike. Simple design, but effective. The vertical and horizontal supports would probably interfere with the Beetle Bags. Horizontal uses exhaust bolts at the pegs. Vertical attaches to the rear sub-frame under the seat.
