Today I was out and rode until it was down to 20 miles left to empty. The low gas light was on and everything worked until after I filled up.

After fillup the low gas light went out but no bars on the LED part.

I did a search and saw people saying it comes back after a few miles. Well, mine didn't...I rode 80 miles home and nothing. Any ideas guys?

Perhaps with only 20 miles left to empty, the float got so low in the tank it got stuck there. If you hit the side of the tank several times with a 5lb hammer it might jar it loose. :banghead::rolleyes:If that doesn't work then I'm sorry I made you dent the crap out of your tank. Just kidding...keep driving and use your odometer to determine when to fill up. Hopefully it will eventually correct itself over time and that will be the end of it. 150 miles fill it up.:sneaky:

Did you also reset your trip meter? - I don't know if they are connected somehow or not....
Maybe time to drain fuel and remove the fuel pump assembly to inspect - while your in there change the fuel filter.
If you do this yourself - just be careful not to bend the fuel level arm as it is a bit tricky to remove. The first pic shows the fuel pump assembly and the float arm is on the other side.
I use a fuelbot 2.0. (the blue thing on the right of the second pic.
