Hey wow, this thread came back to life but I missed it!
Well said! It will not be forgotten. I've hung the broken Triumph tank emblem on my shelf that has my riding gear so I can be reminded each time I go out to not ever be so careless again.
This is what really gets me. This Rocket doesn't really "feel" much more powerful or quicker than my other bikes but all you have to do is watch the speedometer. In the same tame it takes to go 70mph on my Warrior I'm at 100mph on this Rocket. Doesn't feel that much faster but it most certainly is and drastically reduces available reaction time.
Me too! Still don't have it all back together yet. Just too much other stuff going on. I'm bummed I haven't been able to ride it this summer but it'll happen eventually.
