Accessory light connector

Does anyone know where the physical location is of the accessory light connector on a 2008 Touring, the switch is next to the headlight dip switch, according to the wiring diagram it's a 2 pin connector with a Blue/Black coming from the bar switch and a Purple coming from the accessory fuse. Logic would dictate it's in the headlight nacelle, but nope.
Also what mounting solutions have people used, I'd prefer them to be higher than the crash bars if possible, the stock indicator bar is a weird shaped thing so that appears to be out.cheers.
 
Many of the Touring models came with the Aux. lights attached to a light bar which bolts to the lower triple clamp. Not sure where the connector is ,but try lifting the tank to see if you can locate it.
 
Thanks, I did manage to find this https://www.triumphinstructions.com/ProdDocs/A9938085-EN.pdf page 7 says "Locate the 3 pin accessory lamp connector on the main wiring harness, underneath the fuel tank. " which is a bit like saying "lift the haystack and locate the needle"
I disconnected the alarm a couple of months ago after it decided I no longer needed to ride my bike, but didn't remove it or all the spaghetti, looks like I'll be doing that now.
 
The stock blinkers are incorporated into the light bar of the Triumph accessory foglamp/ driving lamp kit for R3Ts.
FOG LAMPS 4.5" (EC) - CHROME (EC Market) A9938095

They are no longer available from Triumph but you may find New Old stock for sale if your scour the internet like I do.
I am about to fit a complete nOS kit I bought a couple of years ago for Au$450 but they last sold new from dealers for about Au$600.
I also have a complete kit made up of new and used parts i sourced bit by bit from around the world if your keen.

The USA market version have different lenses and have an off/on toggle switch built into the LHS light which is swappaple to RHS for UK and Australia RHD use.
The UK/Australia have diffusion fog lamp lenses but both sets are fully adaptable to the now very cheap 4.5" complete LED lamp inserts from AliExprees/eBay for about Au$30-$40 a pair ( these are not just the cheap LED bulbs to replace the stock H3 35w halogens).

Well done, you have a good idea now of the factory lamp option and as posted above I have the bits to make you a complete set if you want.
 
Otherwise you may be able to rig up annother Triumph accessory version to suit as they do share a lot of parts.

You may even like the Rocket III Dual headlight version which has brackets that should be easy to reconfigure. I have a couple of used and new sets of these in the shed too!

Well F me, I'm scouring the world for a solution and there's one in my back yard (Aussie distance) I'm only 2 1/2 hrs away (Moruya) Fancy a chat?
