LOVIN' my 2014 RIIIT!!

Just curious about anyone's experience w/ the ABS, good or bad...

Feels pretty good to me so far. Fish

Yeah, the ABS works well...I've had it kick in on the front when braking super hard and not that progressive like you should (just to try it out you understand :))

It's not as good as the ABS on my other bike, but with that version you can get the rear wheel off the ground and make the front wheel screech for a millisecond when whacking it on as hard as you can in the dry...it's that close to the actual limit

ABS is fab these days, not so limiting when braking hard as it used to be.

Gotcha. Bottom-line, break as hard as you need to w/ virtually no concern about locking up?

If you want to know what it's all about try it in a controlled safe situation, then you'll know what's on tap. I wouldn't recommend trying to brake as hard as you can all the time :) Just know it's there for those times you may want to or when you brake on a crappy surface etc...I always test the limits of these types of things on my bikes just so I know what they are capable of...but not in everyday use lol

I'd say the bottom line would be more like "use the brakes without considering the ABS is there at all, if it's needed it will most likely be a help not a hindrance"

I love the ABS. Not only for emergency stopping & eliminating the rear wheel lock-up (that R3s are prone too) but also for trail-braking and combined throttle/braking modulation situations.

I had an 05 R3 (no ABS) now have 11 Roadster ABS.........such a wonderful improvement!
