Rich, I have used mine several times since I got the bike in October; usually around 25-40 mph. But when I really needed it the other night on the freeway in an extreme situation, I was very impressed. I was coming north on I-95 In Stafford county at 85 mph when a zig-zagging cager clipped the car in front of me and both spun out. Because they were going in two directions DIRECTLY in front of me, I had NO escape path. I had to break hard thinking that I was going to low side the R3T into a spinning car. It didn't happen! I maintained control of the bike all the way to the shoulder in a very short distance. Kick stand down, calling 911 from my helmet as I ran with first aid kit to the injured folks. Me thins me likes ABS a lot!!!

Boog, REALLY GLAD that turned out well for you...I had a similar scenario a while back on my black & white Touring where the car in front of me spun outta control. I knew I had to stop quickly, but it was clear I was not going to stop in time. I carefully applied just slightly more pressure to both brakes and the back immediately locked up w very little pressure. I skidded about 35-40 yards, first on the road, the on the shoulder thru gravel almost slamming into a cement pylon. I changed the brake pads and some other adjustments. So far ABS seems much better, but I'm hoping to not have to find out!
