A small, unique modification.

I've had some odd reactions to them. One German I met seemed concerned about me possibly hitting a deer with them. He said I'd hurt the deer.

Could make them from rubber, that would be fine.

2011 Model - I would have got a warranty replacement first!!!

At 70mph the deer don't know you had spikes
Hpoe you never hit one it would be bad for both, the deer and you
