So my clutch cable broke the other day. Just snapped at the lever. It happened a quarter mile from where I live while at a stop sign... Someone's looking out for me!

But that's not why I'm posting this.

The mover come to pack my stuff up in a week. They're putting my baby in a box and shipping her to the other side of the world. I'm leaving the beautiful, peaceful Bavarian country-side for Hawaii... One paradise for another, I guess.

My time in Germany has been very interesting to say the least. Some of the best roads I've ever seen. Beautiful scenery. It's a quiet, safe place to live... and the road system is amazing!

But I'm ready for a change!

Anyway, here are some pictures from my time here! 506_4520858713938_2033876537_n.jpg 405705_4406430373301_221202996_n.jpg 543870_4782069284039_1251238082_n.jpg 996859_4523692984793_210749165_n.jpg 1012608_4523686384628_753636032_n.jpg 10155085_10201127652947842_8104090125725252137_n.jpg

That's a bit of a change. The first thing you will have to do is ride round the island, then ride back round the other way. If you take your time, you should be back for lunch. ;)

Make sure to eat all the poke you can handle. Id fly back anytime just so I can eat poke all day.

The US Army has seen fit to grant my request for that assignment. Three years on Oahu... I guess that's their way of making up for three years spent in Iraq and Afghanistan... No complaints from me.

First of all, thanks for your service. Second, thanks for sharing those pics. Germany looks like a place I need to visit. Been to Hawaii. I wish you well, and feel free to post pics of Hawaii as well.

Is the hi-vis vest a legal requirement in Germany or just your personal choice? No front guard?
The US Military says we must wear helmet, full finger gloves, long sleeves, long pants, boots and hi-vis vest. And the pic with no front mud-guard was while I was getting the guard cut down a bit.

And thanks! I will!

Mike is on long-term lease to the United States Army. In other words, they own his butt... for now.

Congrats on the A-1 new billet, Mike!
