A mountiain bike ride for Nat67

Brother, you’ve lost a lot of weight n lookin real good. Just like anything else you gotta work your way up to all your goals & the best way to do that is consistency. ;)
Once you get consistent in your workouts you will keep that weight off easier. It’s not about how fast you are, it’s about maintaining what you’ve worked for. All I was trying to do with this thread was give you some fun, motivation to stick with what you are already doing. If it’s taxing your system, then it’s doing you some good, so keep it up my brother! :D
Awww that was amazing Tex really well said :thumbsup::inlove

Don't feel to bad, Nathy.
I had mine for two years before I finally broke it out for my Texas ride this past November.
Got some GREAT footage whilst hooning the Coronado Trail and Mt. Lemon - in both directions.
A night after, I hooked it up to my cell and watched it all in my hotel room.
I was impressed with the quality of the videos. Then somehow I deleted the whole darn thing - 4 files! :( :banghead:

The moral of my SAD story is this:
Learn your equipment - try & error - BEFORE the big event!
What a drongo I be!
Always the way in it bloody typical ... it's like when u forget your camera at the best greatest of events captures .

Ah, the YUTE of it all!!! :D

I hear you there Steve. I went to the Isle Of Man TT races with my mate and his FMX show . VIP passes with access all areas , spent 3 days in the paddock and track side photographers areas .
Took photos with all the top riders and great video footage on a borrowed digital camera , only to delete the whole lot on the ferry home ! :banghead:

Believe me Clint , this thread and your footage is doing just that ! Look what's coming out from under the dust sheets , don't get much more HIIT than this .I ain't done yet , I'm just beginning !

Yes Sir!! That works!!!!!!

@Nat67 - Mate - in all seriousness - look up High Intensity Interval Training. It's becoming a common "tool" in the hands of Physiotherapists. Works.

In fact - If I start going quiet for a bit in the afternoon - it's because I am going back to doing HIIT.

Ya, HITT is good when a short amount of time is all you have. For my goals of weight control I find the need for loooong sessions. I do the 2+ hour thing at just around time trial pace. 75-85% of Max heart rate the whole time.
That should answer Mully’s question re gasping for air ;)
