2nd gear problem

I know a few others have had this problem and it has started to get really bad recently for me. In second gear under heavy torque loads (and not even so heavy recently) the bike just seems to come out of gear completely. Yesterday it wouldn't immediately re-engage so I had to hop into third then bring it back again. Has there been any official word from Triumph on this?
 
Make sure they have the upgrade kit in stock before they tear her apart
don't want any more down time this time of year than nessessary.

..make sure ya pick out a good dealer with good technicians..jumping out of second gear seems to be the determining factor in whether or not they will warrant an upgrade kit..even for a bike that is out of warranty..talk to a couple of dealers first..especially their service managers..good luck, and let us know how it turns out..
 
holy crap, I'm really sorry to hear about all these problems...

I get a lot of tire spin when I shift up to 2nd..does that count?
 
Thanks for the help everyone! - and Regulator - I originally thought I was only spinning a tire - rude awaking to find out it was the gear letting loose instead of the tire!
