Howdy,
A while back a car was backing out of a parking space and didn't see me on my '23 Rocket and didn't stop until she had jackknifed my front tire and I had to set it down on the left side. I have a Verex 3 into 1 so there is no exhaust on the left, and I was able to set it down pretty carefully. It was easier than I thought it would be to right it, and once I did I noticed there was no damage anywhere. The left peg feeler was already scuffed (doing what it is designed for), but the mirror didn't hit, nothing on the swingarm, and nothing anywhere else. I guess the giant tires keep it fairly protected. Has anyone else done this?
