Yup exact same condition. I tried to ride it out a bit longer this time than I did last time and it still took me having to hit the start button twice and sure enough the second time it instantly started. Tobad the plugs arent easier to get to you could clamp the plug wire with a timing light and see if its firing.Mine does that every now and then. Not sure if it's the same issue, but sometimes when I hit the starter it cranks over fine but won't start. If I let up on the start button and then press it the second time it always starts instantly. It's almost as if something in the ignition circuitry isn't turning on with the first press of the button but works fine on the second press. I've just gotten used to it and now if it doesn't start immediately on the first press I just let up and hit it again and it always fires right up the second time.
