2020 Bert Munro Challenge Feb 5 to 9.

Well would you believe it the sun has come out this morning.

The main road to Southland is closed so not sure when it will open again but they are saying it is the worst flooding in Gore for 40 years. I am so pleased I arrived here a day earlier than I planned on.

Will take the caravan out this morning and park it up.
On the motor is in a plane.

Right I got home yesterday after a week away. The weather gods where elsewhere in the world.

All the roads to the event where closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Up to 600 riders where held up in one town while others rode around to Queenstown and waited for the road to open.

They were worried about numbers being down but over 2000 Riders turned up.

Weather was wet and windy for the entire 5 days. With some sun between the showers.

I will be heading down again next year.

I did see the worlds sexiest motor bike on display and reportedly worth about $1,700,000 Kiwi dollars.
