What is the outcome of the test ride Rob ?

Quite good, first ride through good Twisties since the rebuild, bike is butter smooth, and fast. Scary fast, 3rd gear is now prime curve navigation gear, covers 30mph to 120+ lol.

Killed a bird though, poor thing couldn't get out of the way of 120mph rocket barreling around a turn . Died pretty much instantly though, so at least there that.

Luggage stable to at least 140 lol.

Busted a fat rolling burn out launching in first to merge into 55mph enormous line of traffic with a tiny gap. God the rocket feels good spinning up, so easy to control, almost can't feel it spinning, love the Bridgestone!!

Only last minute change is putting on the PX600 since the PX500 is dead:

I couldn’t wait!!!

KSU 11am 10/1, a bit late and ill but I had get ahead of the cold/rain front.

KSD 8:30pm , managed to do 400 miles as the first 200 were into a highly gusty headwind (sucked bad without a fairing).

2019 Southern Comfort Tour

Day 2: KSU 9am Mid-Ohio to lunch at Hard Rock Louisville KY (#98 for me worldwide) detoured to a more scenic Western Kentucky Parkway into NW Tennessee.
HOT 93F; noticed AirHawk cushion deflated.
KSD 8pm 500 miles, become one with the bike a few times (Zen) but had to deal with lots of blow jobs (not the good kind)...

Day 3: KSU 9am Rural Highway 51 into
Memphis to go to HRC #79 on famous Beale St. and ate at BB Kings place.
HOT HOT HOT
dang AirHawk isn’t holding air = rough ride.
Did Rt40 super slab to make some time.
Noticed a headlight is out and I didn’t pack my spare.
KSD 6pm : Arkansas but only 260 miles today
Went to Walmart for a patch kit and H4 bulbs.
Going to try a fried pie (dessert kind, not British meat pie) after dinner at IHOP.

Undecided on tomorrow’s destination as I have a few days to wander about after I fix my headlight.

Hmm, there is a Hard Rock in Tulsa OK that I haven’t been to...

Just had a good visit for supper from 1olbull and Claviger. (Steve and Rob) while on the way thru Nampa going to Texas. Drive - Ride Safe and have mucho fun.
