My previous (2007) Rocket III STD. had less HP and TQ according to Triumph than does my 2015 X or any current Roadster for that matter. Not sure what was done to gain the additional #'s but my question is this: I read that the previously limited 1st-3rd gears is no longer on current models. Was this done via a factory tune or secondary removal?
One other item I noticed on this bike my previous Rocket did not do...I have some slow throttle response...not all the time. My previous bike only had exhaust (Jardines) and a K&N under seat with a dealer tune to compensate.
