The more I think about the more I remember always adding those 200ml of oil after so it'll be that and done and off I go.

What's your plan for this trip- mostly back roads or Interstate, camping or moteling?

5 quarts brings mine to the min mark then I add more without the running procedure till it hits where I want it. Then the next day I check it and its right at the level I left it the day before. About 5.5 liters will put u at the top which is where I set mine.

OK, you guys lost me talking about the 'good ol days' regarding the oil sight glass as I'm clearly seeing a sight glass on the left side of my bike as I'm sure ya'll are also aware of I guess the message is the sight glass is worthless?

The Rocket 3 does not have a sight glass for oil level inspection.
