Any of the American only motorcycle rags got some info in this thing? the site wont divulge any HP or am I missing something. I got too much running to see the video but to me it wouldn't prove anything as these things can be rigged and it boils down to hp to weight ratios anyway. Yes aluminum is light but there is steel there somewhere, liners, etc ? The heat and vibration must be atrocious.

From the website:

The competition brags about their paint, their chrome and the model who sat on their bike in their last ad – the things that look good when your motorcycle is standing still, never their engines. Vipers aren’t meant to sit still, and at the heart and soul of every bike is the Viper engine. The kit companies order their engines off the shelf, generic cookie cutter “clone” motors made to fit into every bike on the planet.

Sculpted from solid billet, with a big bore and short stroke, Viper engines provide incredible power combined with an unbelievably smooth ride. Designed for performance, they produce 30% less heat than competitive air-cooled v-twin engines. Good looks, attitude, power and above all, reliable - built to make bar bikes jealous and leave ‘em standing still.

Viper 152 cu in, all billet aluminum (144ft/lbs torque 128 HP )
