I have changed the oil, changed the rear "bevel box" lube, replaced brake pads all the way around and flushed out the brake fluid. Last on the list is checking the valves. Anyone done this on their own have some pointers? Looks like you have to remove the cam to change the shims? Anything else I should do at this service interval? I have used this as a go by... http://www.triumph.co.uk/media/RocketIII(2).pdf

On a side note, I changed the rear end gear oil at 5000 miles and it was pretty dirty. But it looked really good at 10,000 miles, I probably could have skipped changing it. So for those that do 5000 mile oil changes I would defiantly consider changing it at 5000.

somebody needs to do a how to on checking this .... I'm eventually going to attempt a cam swap and check the valves etc while I'm in there... love to have a How to first..

that or have somebody come to my garage and do the install/check it while I drink beer and take pictures
