So there I was, scootin' along about 85 or so this morning in 29 Degree F air thinking how good life is when traffic is not bad. I’m on the way to work with the fog lights on (0515) when it suddenly became a little dimmer. The left fog light went out. No worries me thinks, I'll just swap it out later. But wait, I only got the 2014 R3T four weeks ago and it only has 1300 +- miles, that's not cool. (I jokingly thought it must be too cold for the light). Anyway, I looked in the manual and come to find out that this is a sealed beam unit that one cannot simply change out the bulb. I called the dealer and discovered that it is a $99 part. Luckily it is covered by my warranty. Still kind of ticks me off but at least they will replace it free when the part comes in. Anyone else know about these fog light bulbs?

I have never had one go out mine came with bike wen I bought it new in Feb 06 . it is an 05 manufactured in 04

What is 29 degree F?

PJ, to find out what 29° F is in your area, try an early morning, mid January to mid February ride starting in Ramona. Take 78 East out of Ramona, then turn north on 79. Turn left onto Half Way Road (about 2 miles north of Shadow Mountain Vineyards). If there is no snow, ride up to Palomar Mountain Observatory. This should give you an idea what 29° F is... These roads are great as are the views; mind the curves! Many ****** rocket riders go here to die...

Been there, done that...
Cold is not far from here, if you want it.

Also, my early years riding were mostly in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado on Suzuki TS 250 enduro and GT 750 street buffalo without fairing...
Can you say Wolf Creek Pass, CO?
