Signal Light Flasher OEM or compatible

Fuses are all good, brake lights, headlights, horn all work. I tried a similar 3 pin LED compatible flasher and still no success. Hard to tell if that is because the flasher is incompatible, or there is another issue.

Signal Light Flasher OEM or compatible

I tried the closest I could find in my local auto supply, however, the one it is replacing is not like anything I have seen anywhere. It looks like it can be plugged in to in order to be programmed. As I said, this isn't the original.

Signal Light Flasher OEM or compatible

My signal lights have stopped working, so I am assuming it's the flasher relay. The one I have appears to be an aftermarket part that I can't seem to find a replacement for, so I would appreciate if some of you can suggest a compatible flasher for a 08 Classic. I'm in Canada, so something in...

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

I don't know any other clutch spec from the manual other than 2-3 mm of play in the clutch lever.

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

I finally got her all put back together, and took her out for a couple shake-out rides. The first ride I noticed the clutch slipping, however after some cable adjustments that stopped. When I'm moving, shifting is somewhat smooth, but now after about 40 Km, when stopped it's difficult, and...

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

Haha, Hello Virginia. I love the Aussie video too. That's just a video that I found that helped me out in this fix. I'm hoping I can make it easier for someone else with the same issue. Cheers!

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

UPDATE: Here's the silly bugger - broken detent spring just like the forum diagnosed. Took me about 3 hours to disassemble the radiator, water pump, and remove the gearbox cover.

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

I'm also having intermittent problems starting: No problems with power, key turns on accessory lights, etc. Kill switch works normally. Push the start button, nothing happens. I can get it to turn over after "fiddling with it" meaning turning the key off and on, or the kill switch off and on...

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

I probably only need something that locks a couple cogs. Anyone know what tool accomplishes this, aside from the lucky man with the CNC. Is there a name for such a tool, other than the batman tool, which is what I would have called it.

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

The detent spring is behind the clutch cluster correct? Any special tools required to remove the clutch? I've seen the gear box disassembled as far as the pressure plate removed.

Did you have issues with other gears?

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

Less shifts getting up to the pathetically low cruising speeds in town, means fewer times the wife's head bounces off the back of my helmet ;-)

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

I have read a couple different threads that Triumph corrected I hope I don't have your bad luck - what was your bike doing that indicated you needed this repair? I seem to remember reading a couple other threads that make me think that the Update Kit was for 07 and earlier bikes, and 08...

slipping out of 2nd and 3rd into neutral

New to Triumph 2 years ago. Pretty mechanical, but have never worked on a triumph. I am having a problem with my 2008 R3C (40000Km) slipping out of 2nd and 3rd gears into what seems like neutral. In some instances I get the neutral light, other times not. I am hoping that this can be...
