    Thanks for the replies.... But how do you grease the splines when as far as I know the unit is sealed? Has anyone seen a video showing how its done?

    Coming from a 2.3 to the 2.5, I wondered if anyone has figured out how to grease the drive splines inside the final drive? Or is it not something that needs doing on the 2.5s? Do the splines run in oil?

    Pulled the trigger on R3 Storm GT yesterday...Not too impressed with dealer about options to add.

    I found the quick shifter to be no better than clutchless shifting........UNTIL I found it wasnt enabled in the menu duh!!!!!

    I believe the term pillion is for the seat behind the rider, so a passenger would sit on the pillion seat, so I guess bike owners in the past started to call their passengers a pillion for some reason?

    So just out of curiosity , what is the correct/safe way to strap a rocket or any bike without a centre stand down whilst on a ferry?? I,ve always used the three points of contact way , front wheel, back wheel, side stand with steering lock on and bike in gear. Or have i been doing it wrong...

    Sell it and get an older model. my 2004 is as smooth as butter up to about 4.5k revs then only a slight buzz through the foot pegs..
