Bike power button not working anymore apparently...

So I previously posted about my 2022 Rocket GT throwing codes having to do with the ABS system. I disconnected the battery for a couple days because it was making a weird noise while off and acting very strange, so I disconnected the battery until I had time to properly go over it. A couple days later I reconnected tbe battery, turned it on using the power button, cleared the codes via TuneECU, turned it off and back on, and started it up with the codes not coming back. Everything seemed to be fine and all is well until it started not wanting to come on via the power button anymore consistantly. I would have to press it several times before it would finally come on, until now it wont come on at all unless I press the ignition/start button and then it will wake up and start. No codes and nothing on the dash indicates anything is wrong. It wont turn off with the power button either and I have to use the kill switch on the left side of the bike. The attached photo is the previous codes that it was throwing but those have gone away without returning. My guess is the power button itself maybe has a short somewhere or is just toast?

Hello , I always check battery connections first for tightness . Try a squirt of electric cleaner into the switch ..other than that I told you all I know when I said hello .

I did make sure connections are tight. I might try that electrical cleaner also. Thanks for your comment.

a lot of weird stuff can happen with a bad battery. I'd try a new one. even if you take a known good one out of your lawn mower or something to try. If its the original, it might be going. also make sure all the ground connections are clean and tight. as well as the fuses. check for corrosion on the blades. this is good stuff.

Grounds can be a nuisance, so make sure the battery to ground is clean and tight. After that, change the battery in your FOB so it's got good signal strength. See how it behaves after that.

It sounds like corrosion on the power button contacts to me. That's a disassemble n look job.

I've done those two things. Bike is still acting up.

That's what I'm planning to do next. I will update what I find.
