Paul Bryant full system for 2.5 R3

Getting close to shipping, so excited! I guess I should order a new exhaust gasket for the install, right? What about those anti-popping plates while we are in there putting in a new air filter. Are those worthwhile? Sorry, I don’t know what they are really called.

I just put those on. From Smart Moto. AIS blanking plates and resister. Sorry to say the popping is still there. Although maybe lessened a bit.

If you don´t like the popping, set the 0% column in the ETV tables a little higher from top to 1500rpm.
Engine break will be reduced a little, but you might even like it.

Thanks, but I don't know diddly squat about all that..that's why I paid $900 for a bt moto tune instead of yours. I'm just clueless with all that. I still had to pay $75 at a shop for them to load the tune because I don't have a windows OS 'puter. I can change a jet in a carb though. Ha ha

Yes, there needs to be new gaskets for the header. We didn't put on any blanking plates, I don't mind the burble when decelerating.

No change to the intake tract as from what I could find there really isn't a restriction on the intake side other than the throttle bodies themselves but I can't verify the throttle body statement, that was from a Triumph mechanic who went to Rocket maintenance training. They said the throttle bodies are the same size as what is on the Tiger 1200. I didn't verify and I wasn't going to put on aftermarket throttle bodies so I didn't research the idea.

Loading the tune we did it with a bluetooth MX+ and an android phone. We used the Penner tune and when we put it on the dyno we took about 10% of the fuel out at the top. Keep in mind we are at 3000 feet elevation and were going to be running even higher so depending on your local elevation your results will vary.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
