How to replace instrument lamps?q

Does anyone have any idea how to remove the rectangular rubber instrument lamp sockets? I've pried and pulled hard,

just short causing broken stuff lol.

I’m in the same boat, the bulb in my separate fuel gauge has decided to cease illuminating!

Are thay bulbs or LEDs? I suspect they are LEDs and therefore part of the circuit board.

like all multipin plugs there will be a locking tab to depress - it will be along the longest edge of the plug, from memory it is on the bottom side (From the photo.)
