Go to avent where there are 10 stock red, 2.5L GT model Rockets lined up, all exactly the same, which one is yours ?
Oh yea', the one with the VikingExhaust fitted.
As one person said a while back, "the Rocket has more power than the majority of Riders will ever use" so it's not all about Power.
It's also about individuality, and some sound.

Absolutely. The exhaust/headers are also constricted to meet Euro 5 bullstuff. I want to eke out the highest possible horsepower and torque. When someone at the strip asks what I am running I will proudly talk about my Viking exhaust, Penner tune and Konrad’s dyno tuning.

There are guys on here that will change, pistons, cams, heads, turbo charge, super charge, all for that last bit of thrust. It’s just money. So if we get that out of the way we are back to what I want my bike to do and how do I go about achieving that. I don’t want a supercharged bike. But I want my bike to be faster than yours, right? And, it looks different. It’s mine and yes, that’s a Viking exhaust.

The full stock system weighs 17Kg's.
My full system weighs 5.5 Kg.

Here's a photo that I put up earlier showing the pipe in bare steel after we started and ran the Engine a bit just to hear what it sounded like.
As mentioned back then, I've since modified the inlet of the muffler to funnel the "Fire Ball" further into the muffler.

...ever since we were kids most of us wanted the fastest pushbike...trolley...skateboard or whatever regardless of the skin we were bound to lose.
My first motorbike was a Puch moped capable of stunning speeds ..if i lay down along the tank i could squeeze 25mph out of it!!...without remapping it too!
I'm still seeking similar modifications to this day!!!..i guess its the boy in me!....oh!...turning 76 this month!...not interested in breaking any speed records now but i have had the Rocket flatout..once. Thats enough for me cos my angel spoke to me quite sternly!..I do love these Rockets!
