Hello Rocketeers,

Sent off for blue Samco hoses and clips (clamps as we say).
Does radiator removal make this job much easier?
After installation, do you only need to remove the plastic
radiator shrouds to re-torque the upper hose(s)?
Looks pretty straightforward if radiator removed.

Much easier to change hoses with the radiator off. Not saying it cant be done. But that like changing the thermostat with the throttle bodies and oil tank on. By the time . If your shrouds are off 4 of them not the front screen its only three bolts and the radiator is off
Don't pull the wheel just either pull the mud guard or put a thick bath towel over it so you don't scratch it. Oh and wash the towel when you're done (if you're married) with out her knowing. :) in the old days you could just say her
Now the way the democrats have it now you can be married and redefine the term darkside :D


Oh and since your state side did you order black or find someone who has colors in stock. I'm going to have to do mine also.

Samco do some pretty unique hoses now . 5 week waiting list tho . I can't upload links so try their websight .

I ordered blue from mjd128 (158664). From EBAY. The hoses clamps and shipping for $144 American. They have blue in stock right now.
Thanks for the tech info. I started to get a coolant leak on the small hose under the bleeder bolt.

Do not do the yellow, as I did.
Tis difficult to keep clean.
