Im staying in Drango tonight so I now thanks to you I have something to really look forward to, Talimena was rather lackluster.

Talimena was a bust, 95% no view due to trees on both sides (could have been anywhere) on a scheiss road with mediocre "vista points" every few miles. I guess if one grew up there and has never seen any other states it's probably amazing. I got there from Mema and an hour later I somehow wound up back in Mena then had to outrun the incoming storm.

Following along with you ! No wind screen , the chest blast would get to me . You are covering some serious ground to most that would be the trip of a lifetime . Happy motoring !

If you have time, southern Utah is another beautiful area. Rt. 12 in particular. Capitol reef pk. Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Zion. And Monument Valley down south. Its on the way home west. Another road I liked was "the loneliest road in America" Rt. 50. Baker Nevada to Carson City.

No time 550 is pushing it already got 640mi to Wells NV. I've been through Utah including Bryce Canyon on bike decades ago.
