X-Country Tires

I'm embarking on my 7000mi trip from California to Cape Cod and back in the last 2 weeks of May, provided the world doesn't blow up by then, and am looking for a set of tires that will make the whole trip. I'm sticking to interstate other than a 40mi detour over Talimena Scenic Highway in Oklahoma on the way back so tire longevity is important. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I you can find them ... Avon Cobra Chrome have lasted me 10K to 12K miles. Otherwise Metzler Cruise Tech if you want matched tires. Others buy the Bridgestone Exedra rear and for the front a Michelin Road 5 or Road 6 rear tire in 150/70/17 size and turn it around.
