Workshop Stand

Thanks Hombre - I didn't appreciate that there was an alternative...

I've found a supplier in the UK that can supply Raask for much less than the Ebay product.

Cheers

Works fine, but be aware that it doesn't lift the back wheel far enough off the ground to remove it.

Thanks - my real interest is for cleaning and winter storage so that's not a huge problem...

I've got one of these and is great as a garage stand and for general cleaning. Easy for one man use. Just make sure your side stand is down when you bring the bike off the garage stand No damage done but frightened the crap out of myself.

Raask stand

I have the raask stand. It doesn't lift either wheel off the ground period.

All I can figure out is the upgraded shocks have more lift than the stock ones.

I have to take the stand and set it on a piece of plywood to get the wheel up enough so that it will turn.

It's a good design concept, just needs a little more height. I havent come up with a good way to modify the thing yet.

This pic demonstrates the problem http://www.dunringil.com/my slide shows/rocket mods/ef_1.JPG

In UK the stand can be bought at http://www.jacklilley.com
