Does anyone running windshield lowers (to get rid of the wind around the head) have problems with exhaust fumes ? I'm running tors and one of the anti-backfire tunes so the exhaust is pretty rank, some unburned hydrocarbons I suspect. I don't care about the planet, it runs great. The problem is with the lowers on (I'm running a tall CEE Baileys windshield) I'm in a cloud of exhaust most of the time. Pretty much any speed. I tried modifying the shape, changed the angle. If I get rid of the exhaust I'm back to the wind in the face. Anyone else had this? Found a cure?

first off check that your exhaust manifold doesnt have a leak...or a leak at the connection to the catbox/bypass..

Id experiment with angling the lowers back and maybe tiltilg or raising or lowering the windshield some..

but the price for all that still air behind the screen is probably that its not pulling the exhaust away from the bike as much..

good luck

I had a raw fuel smell once, but it was because the fuel fitting at the tank had the slightest of leaks. New seal fixed that!
