Which way round for oil seal on inner TDU bearing ?

My question is does anyone know which side of the TDU inner bearing has the seal fitted ? I noticed the bearing on the other side of that oil pressure fed housing (rear bearing on input shaft) has the seal on the outer side while the TDU inner bearing has the seal on the inner side - is this correct, the shop manual does not show the set up in any detail.

Thanks Jerry , but I think oil under pressure is fed into the cavity between the 2 bearings (TDU inner and input shaft rear bearing) from an internal oil gallery, and the hole you can see in the housing is to allow the supplied oil access to the rear of both bearing housings and is not actually the sole feed.
The other side of the hole is the rear bearing of the gearbox input shaft.
My motor bottom end is completely apart and using an air line I could understand a bit more how it works, but knowing this, which way round would you now fit the TDU inner bearing and seal ?
Or have I misunderstood your description ?
