PPG is affordable.

Napa, Autozone, etc. should carry it.

If you've got a color code, have a body shop mix it up for you.

My tank is scuffed up form where I had the tank bib on it...

But good info to know you could order the color ...let me know how it turns out, cause I may be tryign to to some hard bags or other items to match..

I will let the painter pick the clear coat, as I am going to need something real durable for the belly pan.

I bought some clear 3M paint guard film to put on the bellypan. I have not installed it yet, but it is supposed to be some extremely tough stuff. I'm going to put it on the RAD shroud and the bottom front of the hard bags too.

My painter said they have a spray on type, but it was extremely expensive and required a lot more labor. Hopefully the 3M stuff works. It's also known as a "clear bra" for cars. I just bought a short roll of the stuff on Ebay.

Ok. I might actually apply the film this weekend. I have both the painted belly pan and the 3M film in my garage, but just been too busy. If I get to it, I'll take pics and post up my opinions.

Liquid, Before you start doing performance, come see mine, and do a few passes at the track with yours..

get a feel for what triple filters/ remove secondaries/ tune boy/ pipe can do for you...

well maybe we can meet halfway between here and there, do a couple roll ons side by side and you'll see what I mean...

Only issue I had was clutch, and I abused the heck out of mine one night is why it started slipping...

since the upgrade to barnett no problems..

come to augusta... if you see, hear and experience how fast mine is.

gotta tease about the chrome...

hey so where are you gettign your paint done?

If I get a set of bags I 'll need them painted, plus I think I'll get my fairing proffessionally smoothed out and painted..

Ive been thinkign of takign my chances at the local collision center type place, we have about 6 of them around here...
