Down at the front edge of the motor at the bottom on the right side just below the triumph emblem I have a hole for some reason on my 2014 Roadster. Look like a missing bolt or something. Don't know why I just noticed this after having the bike for almost 2 years. It would seem I do not know how to post a pic either.

I don't think the hole has a purpose except to have a place to put the cheap chrome plastic plug (which always looses it's chrome coating). There is another hole on the left rear side of the engine. I am working on using the right front hole as a platform to bolt an air horn.

Perhaps they are lift holes having to do with assembly???
Like your idea of making it useful, but maybe be careful of road grime and crud down that low.

+1. As Leatal has said my hole has a cheap ass chrome plated plastic plug filling it, looks like it wouldn't take much to dislodge the plug (therefore they probably cost about $25 to replace OEM).

Well what do you know, I just checked on Bike Bandit and the Chrome Plug is a very reasonable $1.65.

I have often bolted my horn in the right front hole
