What to do with the Fuel Evaporative System

I noticed my 05 Standard has the Evaporative system on it. If I take it off what effects will it have on the bike? Should I even worry about it?

I don't have to pass emmison test and mine is gone has not seemed to effect the bike at all I did it when I out the McCruise on made it easier to install

Just make sure if you take it off (I'm doing the McCruise installation now, and looking back, kinda sorta wish I'd have removed that), that you plug the vacuum take off on the third cylinder throttle body.

Aren't there any passing dogs at your place that you can throw it at...????

I would rather throw it at the neighbors that let there dog roam past. The dog we deal with another way. I want to remove the government garbage, and free up some additional room under the seat. I'm saving up for the ram air and free up a bucket load of room and performance.
