Have pretty much decided that when its time to fit new rubber I'm going to get the wheels painted - this is to reduce maintenance i.e. less polishing more riding :).

So, should it be all silver or all black ??????? anyone care to give an opinion? Bike colours are - blood and bones.

I would stay with silver unless you plan to black out the bike in the future. JMO!

What he said ... they've got a silver powdercoat that looks great. HPC Coatings have a silver coating that looks better than chrome .

I'd go with the dominant (vice accent) color. You might consider Red with a polished alloy stripe on each side rim.;)

..here's black powercoat with yellow rim tape..

Quite like the blacked out look but I think that yours looks good because most of it is black to match - not sure if that will be the case with loads of bling like mine :).

Anyway found a place that will paint for £30 a wheel, this price is conditional on them being bead-blasted first. Not powder-coat, just the same materials as car bodies - acid etch, primer, top coat and two coats of clear lacquer.
