I did some cutting today too, maybe it will come up with the tank so I never have to take it off again.

Nice job. Really good fit. Did you install the filters first, then cut the bearclaw?
 
Yeah, the filters have been in place for a year. I just got around to cutting up the extra claw I got from JD (Manic Mechanic). The filters had to be twisted a little so they would fit under the stock bear claw but it worked.

There's a technique and that is a partial here and a partial there. The sum is an uptight and inplace bear claw.
