That looks so much better than on the 2.3L bikes because both the drain and fill plugs are beefy like they should be. On the 2.3L the drain plug is small and very weak. It breaks off in the differential if you over torque it. It only torques to 15 NM. And sometimes that is too much. I know.

It was probably a common complaint so they fixed it thankfully. I'd be pretty mad if I had a bolt break like that on my bike. I deal with it enough working on cars.
Oh, ok. yeah these are 14mm for engine plugs. I didn't realize the Dif. plugs were different. Any idea the right size for the Dif.? I'll have to get some then. I haven't changed them in almost 10k miles.

When I get home I'll measure them with my calipers and post what the measurements are. Good source on the oil washers though, a lot cheaper getting them on amazon.
Edit. T3551272 14.5 x 20 x 1.4 mm sealing washer. Had this in my notes.
Edit. I found some on mc master carr website that are 14.2mm. Im going to measure the bolt when I get home to see if .011 will make a difference. I'd imagine it will probably work. I'll update later
I also found some on amazon even cheaper if the bolt will fit 14mm ID instead of having to be 14.5mm. We will see.
