Its been awhile since i took the bike in because of the nose over condition after 4500 rpm. Actually its been at the dealer since November 15th. Triumph really drags their feet on warranty issues. Anyway, there is definitely a problem but sets no codes. They say its as if the traction control takes over no matter what mode i am in. I knew this thing had to be faster then that. It builds pressure in the gas tank when you open it to fill up but the cant find a venting issue. Which is completely odd. Obviously not venting. Well the sent Triumph the real time data on the bike and they cant find a problem. But what their engineers say is to change the abs module...hmmm thats not gonna vent my tank. That is the latest as of today when the dealer called. We will see soon. I will keep you posted on my dud.

The tank pressurizing isn't a huge problem. Do you have the evap canister on your bike? It could be a check valve installed backwards.
My vent line was pinched from the factory. It was a huge problem with gasoline puking out the cap all over the tank and hot engine. They had to replace the vent line since it was mashed flat.

In my case it was a huge problem. I have said it before during one of my many rants. My first fillup even though I was low on gas I noticed the hissing sound as I slowly took off my gas cap. It spit at me but no gas. I filled up and drove 2 miles home. After the Rocket set for 45 minutes I wanted to put a little gas treatment in as the gas station was sketchy. I took off the gas cap and gas sprayed all over my Rocket and me. The Rocket had cooled off but if it hadn’t myself, the Rocket and my garage would be toast. The Dealer changed out the entire gas tank but did say the canister was fine. I should have asked more questions but they did say defective gas tank. It does hiss slightly in 100 degree heat when getting gas since but in a normal way. My ass puckers every time though and it’s been 5 years. Actually 5 years today!!!:)

I do hear the pressure relief on my bike but it has never been anything but a little air sound. Now if my bike failed to make power after 4500 rpm I’d blow my own gasket and scream bloody murder till it was fixed.
