I can state with confidence that putting TORS on will eliminate the cat, it is in the stock mufflers, not the mixing box

Dave is spot on about the cats. That small box between the headers and mufflers is hollow. It looks a bit like a small cat but its not.

I've come pretty close and still have some tunes to test. Dave has done even better, but he has Nev helping. Completely unfair.
