Was having a wee bit trouble with my turn signals and horn working when the hell they wanted to, long story short traced it back to a split wire in the group of wires from the clutch, stripped the protective sleeve and solders a new piece in all is well now.
Where the wire split a tie wire was hold a group of wires together I probably use my full lock more than most on here as I use my bike to teach the BRC/ARC courses and use a lot of lock to lock took eleven years to snap Hopefully this can help some one out. The wire is white with a green stripe
