The Rocket Touring model was introduced in 2008. If he has an 08 or later R3T I have an excellent tune for Jardines/Triple K&Ns.

In any case, bones is right about the Triumph tunes. They won't work for Jardines.

If you have an 07 it is a Rocket tourer which is the classic model with all the goodies on her. Make sure you load the proper tune as the 08 touring has a totally different ECU in it and it will not work with your ECU. A easy way to tell is do you have one head light or two. If you have two you have a tourer and all standard and classic tunes will be what you want to load.

Sorry but stock Triumph tunes( aftermarket exhaust no cat) will totally suck for jars...will be too lean & will pop like hot corn..

The local dealership installed a TORs tune and while it doesn't totally such (well close) it is not right. The TOR is the richest Triumph tune and while it my O7 Classic runs good with the Jards and the TOR, I still get back popping going down hill with the throttle closed. Even the slightest bit of throttle opening will stop it immediately though. I rode to California and back with this tune and all was good with the exception of the back decel back popping. TuneBoy, TuneEdit or a PC3 is the fix.

Think he's on the R3T? not the classic?? whether that makes a heap of difference, I dunno.( Ie can the dealer load R3 aftermarket tune into an R3T )?
But yeah, the only way for perfection is to get someone's dyno tune for it as a base point; & then go for a tweak on the dyno.
