Tune for jardine and triple k&n

Sorry up front if this has been dealt with but I'm a bit confused.
Can the R3R be tuned/mapped through the standard/dealer type triumph tuning/mapping "thingo" or must You use tuneecu or tuneboy type means? ( for the triple k&n and jardine set up )

I was just asking out of academic interest as I was debating the point , the other day, with one of my son's friends who runs a custom tuning business ( for cars) in Townsville.
 
No, the dealer unit only offset of the entire map globally richer or leaner. It doesn't allow full mapping as TuneECU and TuneEdit do.

I have Jardine pipes and triple K&Ns on the way. I'd sure like to know which map to use! Thanks!
 
I have triple K&N's and TORs. Dealer hates PC3s and loaded Triumph tune. Seems to run good, but am I losing a lot of power? Wouldn't it be popping if it was way lean?

The software and a cable are required for using and loading maps into the stock ECU.
