2010 Triumph R3T Black "Darksider" imitation 70cc motorized "Harley Davidson" bicycle
My wife and I are trying to plan a trip to the Grand Canyon, Sedona and the area around Las Vegas.
We are flying down from Canada during the march holidays and renting a couple of Harleys.
We cant ride our bikes down as we still have snow in March up in Canada plus its a little too far.
I thought I would ask here if any of you have experienced this and if anyone has recommendations or suggestions on stuff to see ,tours , rental oufits, etc?
Is it worth while going out from Las Vegas? or is another city a better choice?
as it is we are going there just for the riding and no casinos.
Thanks Mac

go to vegas you will find there is a big rental business for HD in vegas . cannot remember the name BUT then ride to the VALLEY OF FIRE state park 60 miles out . amazing scenery and road I can send you some pictures that will wet your appetite if you give me an email . check the town of oatman on the other side of town bring fresh carrots cause the donkeys are on the loose in town watch for brown ice . of course go and see the new hoover dam bridge surely some other members can add to this ...

You might consider using San Diego as your base. Possibly wider rental choices from there (I'd prefer to rent a Victory over a HD anyday of the week). Easy ride from there to Vegas (about 5 hrs as I recall) and other than for the mountain passes, more reliably good weather, plus great scenic roads, the Pacific Ocean and easy access to Mexico, if you dare!

mexico is mostly ok stay off the sinialoa state and you do not need a sticker if you stay in the "free zone" I went on my bike to el fuerte to take the train on the copper canyon and left the bike in somebody's garden at the railways station in el fuerte and we picked it up on return cost of parking and keeping it safe 10 bucks for 3 days it all depends where you hang your hat there are bad people everywhere in the world I would go on my bike to mexico again without fear..
