Any body know of any dealers that sell on line for a TPS. Had this one replaced by dealer about 18 months ago with the updated one?? Not sure if it was the old or new type. Dealer was about has helpful has a dead turtle. It cost me $135.00 in labor and Triumph payed for the part. Is now out again.
Bike bandit takes to long to get most parts.
Thanks for any help.

Bike Bandit or your dealer is about it.. If your current one is blue on the inside that goes on the shaft, then it is the current one. If it's white, then it's the old style.

I order from the Dealer figuring if I order from Bike bandit they order from the dealer. Why wait on the middle man.

Dealer said it would be 7 to 10 days, which means 14 days or more. Plus I would have to go get it when it got in.

Just ordered a new TPS from Baxter's. Thanks for the info and Thank you tdragger for the link. Will have it in 2 to 3 days.

I have had great luck ordering thru Baxter's also. Another good dealership I order thru is Falcones "INDY Triumph"
Make sur eyou shim the pad where the bolt goes thru. A soda can makes for a good shim.

Can I ask how many miles you bike has on it. I hope you say 300,000 miles to justify the double part failure.
Heck otherwise that ***** is a money pit.

I remember something about shimming the TPS just were the bolts goes thought, like a washer. Correct. If not, do you know were the link might be?

You are correct just where the bolt goes about .010" Like I said a soda can works well and cuts easily.
When changing it make sure you do a full ISCV reset.
