Tps symtoms

Riding down hwy today notice when slowing down my rev's were still up in the 3thou range ( almost like having cruise control stuck) is this the TPS? Clutch and heavy braking were neede to get home. Did stop at some lights turned engine off then on and all was good.

Squirt (wd40) all over throttle linkages and everything that moves when you twist the throttle. Stuff the straw up under the little rubber boot on the TPS. This may do the trick for a while.
