I really like Harleys in general. They've been great, very reliable, low maintenance bikes since about the Evo time frame, and every component has great fit and finish. Paint and chrome work are awesome, much better than our Triumphs to tell the truth.
However, Harley Davidson, as a company, really knows how to screw people and apparently make a majority of them enjoy it.. lol. Take the 2003 Anniversary Models for example, specifically the Sportster. Harley sold a gagillion of them. People who didn't ride bought Anniversary Sportsters thinking they were collectors items. Then... What'd they do to those customers? They came out with the MUCH improved 2004 Sportster line, making the "Anniverary Models" all but worthless, knowing full well in 2003 that this was going to happen.
