Another advantage to riding in the winter is my wife doesn't wanna go in the cold so I'm free to mess around a bit more. In the sunmer shes with me 80% of the time.
I didn't think I'd really use the heated grips very much since all my other bikes never had them but man do they come in handy. I hate having bulky gloves on, now I can let the grips run at full heat and wear real thin gloves.
My snow blower has heated handles. I never thought I'd be a bougie *****, but being on the wrong side of 45, it's the little things that get you through it.
The thing I have noticed about riding in the cold ... I'm cold and I don't like it. I recently purchased heated gloves, heated vest and some nice boots. I will find out if they make cold riding comfortable. I hope so.
"Another observation, I road around for about a half hr to my dads and forgot to turn my brake free light on. On the way home I made sure it was on and there was a noticeable difference. People definitely stay back further with it on."
